HH98 Review — The Lobby That Will Not Open

HH98 is a Pakistani real-money gaming brand at hh98.win, also reachable at hh98.com. It is the only platform in this group that will not let you look at it. Arrive at the lobby and you are redirected to a registration form before a single game is visible.

That makes HH98 a useful test of a question we keep running into: how much can you establish about an operator that shows you nothing? The answer, on 26 August 2026, turned out to be quite a lot — because while HH98's lobby is locked, its message centre is not, and its download bucket answers to anyone who asks.

Disclosure: the HH98 link on this page carries a referral code and pays General APK if you sign up. It did not change what we measured, and we could not use it to see any more of the site than you can.

What happens when you arrive

Load hh98.win with a referral code attached and you do not reach a lobby. You are redirected to /home/register and shown a form:

The country code is pre-filled to +92. There is an age gate, and there is a link to a User Agreement. That is the whole of what HH98 shows an unregistered visitor, along with a support widget, a demo button and a banner:

Three numbers, and we will come back to them. What is worth registering first is the design decision. Every other brand in this family — IC777, PK365, 98PKR, and the five we documented in August — opens straight into a game lobby with demo play available. HH98 gates the front door.

That has one consequence worth being fair about: HH98 is age-gating before exposure rather than after, which is the more defensible order. It has another consequence that is less flattering: nobody can evaluate HH98's catalogue, terms, licence footer or payment methods without handing over a phone number first. Both things are true.

The message centre they left unlocked

Registration-walled platforms in this family have a consistent gap. The lobby is gated; the message centre is not. Requesting /home/notice?noticeType=1 on HH98 returns its Message Center without an account, and it was populated on the day we looked:

The centre carries five categories — Support, News, Notice, Marquee and Reward Feedback — with the Notice tab holding those five items.

This is thin, but it is not nothing, and it answers the first question anyone should ask about a gated site: is this operationally live, or is it a shell? Two redemption-code posts on the day we checked, a member day, and a VIP weekly reward credit two days earlier. HH98 is being actively run, on a schedule, by someone posting promotions twice a day. A parked domain or an abandoned brand does not do that.

It also tells you the VIP programme genuinely pays out something on a weekly cycle, because HH98 announced crediting it. What the notice does not say — and we could not open the individual posts without an account — is how much, to whom, or against what turnover.

A 6.6 MB app that needs 200 MB of space

HH98 publishes no version number, no file size and no minimum Android version. Its APKs sit in the S3 bucket 8ysnl0-3673-ppp and answer header requests:

The _sn file is a stub installer that fetches the real payload. The universal build is 100.0 MB and the 64-bit build your phone will actually run is 80.9 MB. The stub is one fifteenth of the app.

Now compare that with what HH98's affiliate coverage tells people. The page at 92game.app titled "HH98 Game Download – Latest Version App v2.0.9 for Android" states:

6.6 MB is the stub, rounded down, and "v2.0.9" is a version number HH98 does not publish anywhere in its own product. The dedicated affiliate site hh98.io does something more interesting still. Its spec table reads:

App Name HH98 · Size 6.69MB · Version V1...

and then, two rows later, in the same table:

Storage 200 MB available space

Recommended: Storage 500 MB free space

A 6.69 MB app does not need 200 MB of free space, let alone 500 MB. That page is quoting the stub as the download size and the real payload as the storage requirement, in the same table, without noticing the contradiction. Its own numbers corroborate our measurement: something considerably larger than 6.69 MB is going to land on the phone.

There is a second thing in the dates. HH98's stub was uploaded on 12 July 2026; the payload it fetches was rebuilt on 13 August 2026, a month and a day later. The installer and the app it installs are not built together. That is normal for this architecture — the stub only needs to know where to fetch from — but it means the "Updated" date on any download page is close to meaningless unless the page says which file it is describing.

The download URL also carries a cache-buster, 1786640501000, decoding to 13 August 2026, 17:01:41 UTC, about half an hour before the payload upload. Build stamp first, upload second, consistent with every other brand on this platform.

The referral link that goes nowhere

There is a detail about HH98's distribution that we did not expect to find, and it is the most practically useful thing in this review.

The HH98 referral link in circulation — the one handed to us, and the form these links take when they are shared on WhatsApp and Telegram — points at:

That host does not exist. Not blocked, not expired, not parked: `hh98.bet` returns NXDOMAIN. There is no DNS record for it at all, and none for www.hh98.bet either. A request to it fails at name resolution, before any connection is attempted.

The brand is fine. hh98.win is live and hh98.com is live, and both serve the same platform on the same tenant account — we confirmed both carry the bucket 8ysnl0-3673-ppp and the identical v7.5.3 build stamp. Only the .bet domain in the referral link is dead.

This is worth spelling out because of how it will look to a player. You receive a link from someone you know. You tap it. Your browser says the site cannot be reached. The three conclusions available to you are that the site is blocked, that it has been shut down, or that your friend sent you something fraudulent. All three are wrong, and none of them is recoverable without knowing that the working domain is a different top-level domain entirely.

It also means any referral traffic sent through hh98.bet is being lost. Whoever is sharing that link is not being credited for the signups it fails to deliver, and cannot tell, because the failure happens in the recipient's browser.

We cannot say whether hh98.bet was ever registered and lapsed, or whether the link was mistyped at the source and never worked. The distinction matters less than the practical advice: if an HH98 link does not load, try `hh98.win` directly before concluding the brand is gone. Domains in this market rotate constantly — IC777's own operator-published mirror list already contains one domain that no longer answers — and a dead link is weak evidence of anything.

Rs 598 and 3.98 percent, and who pays for them

HH98's banner gives three numbers and no terms:

• First deposit 30% cashback
• Rs 598 per referred friend
• 3.98% lifetime commission

Take the third one first, because "lifetime commission" is the phrase doing the most work. A percentage commission in this market is normally paid on the referred player's *losses* or on their wagering turnover, not on their winnings. HH98 does not say which. Nor does it say whether 3.98% is the rate or the ceiling — the same banner elsewhere in the family is written "up to". If it is turnover-based, 3.98% is a large number; if it is loss-based, it is a share of what your friend loses.

That is the uncomfortable arithmetic under every referral scheme in this category, and it is worth stating plainly rather than burying: a lifetime commission on a friend's activity pays you more the longer and harder they play. HH98 publishes the rate and not the base, which means a player cannot work out what they are being offered or what it would cost the person they invite.

The Rs 598 is cleaner — a flat bounty per friend. What HH98 does not publish is the qualifying condition. "Refer a friend and earn Rs598" does not say whether the friend must deposit, how much, or how long they must stay.

The 30% first-deposit cashback has no stated cap, no minimum deposit, and no wagering requirement in anything HH98 shows a visitor. Its twin brand 98PKR advertises the same 30% figure and adds "payable in three phases" — a term HH98 omits. If HH98's cashback works the same way, the money does not arrive at once, and a player reading only HH98's banner would not know that.

The build that arrived a month after the installer

We said HH98's payload is 100.0 MB where most of this family ships around 76.5 MB. That gap is worth pinning down, because it is the one place where HH98 is measurably different from its siblings rather than differently worded.

Here is the full set of builds we have now measured on this platform:

Two size classes, and they do not track the account number. Five brands cluster at 76.5 MB, IC777 sits just above at 77.7 MB, and HH98 and 98PKR are alone at around 100 MB — roughly 24 MB of additional payload each.

We cannot open the APKs to say what that 24 MB contains, and we are not going to guess. What we can say is that HH98 and 98PKR are the two brands in this set that ship the larger package, that they are within 1.5 MB of each other, and that they advertise identical referral terms — Rs 598 and 3.98% — down to the decimal. Those two brands are more closely related to each other than either is to the rest of the family.

HH98 and 98PKR are the same size for a reason

The relationship shows up in a third place. HH98's lobby HTML and 98PKR's lobby HTML both carry the same platform build stamp:

That stamp is identical, to the second, across HH98, 98PKR, IC777 and PK365. Four brands, four separate domains, four separate S3 buckets, one build run. In August we measured the previous five brands in this family at v7.5.2, stamped Thu Aug 20 2026 01:51:26. So the platform shipped v7.5.2 on 20 August and v7.5.3 on 25 August, and every tenant picked it up together.

Independent confirmation of the family link turns up in an unlikely place. One of the affiliate sites covering HH98 states outright:

HH98 Game shares its development team with a handful of sister platforms, including 98PKR, PK98, and PK365.

That page has no access to S3 bucket names or build stamps, and it names a brand we have not measured — PK98. It reached the same conclusion we did from the marketing side. When the affiliate layer and the infrastructure layer agree, the relationship is not speculative.

What would change our assessment

We would rather set out what HH98 could do to be assessed differently than leave a review that reads as a verdict on a company we could not see inside.

Publish a terms page outside the wall. Three of HH98's own siblings do. PK365 states its payment rails, a Rs 1,000 claim threshold and a 1× wagering requirement on its welcome draw, all visible without an account. 98PKR names ten game studios, a Rs 500 qualifying deposit and the fact that its 30% cashback is paid in three phases. HH98 advertises the same 30% cashback and says none of that. A single public page carrying minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, processing time and the terms of the three offers on its banner would move HH98 from unassessable to assessable, and it would cost nothing.

Say what the 3.98% is charged against. Turnover or losses. Those are very different offers for the friend being invited, and the difference is one word.

Open demo mode. HH98 has a demo button on its registration screen. Its sibling PK365 lets you page through roughly 900 demo titles without an account. Letting people see the games before handing over a phone number is the single most consumer-friendly thing a platform in this market can do, and HH98 is one of the few that does not.

Name the operator. No company, no jurisdiction, no address, no licence. Every brand we have documented on this platform fails this to some degree, but HH98 fails it completely, because even the boilerplate its siblings print sits behind the wall.

Fix the referral domain. hh98.bet does not resolve. Whoever is distributing that link is losing every signup it fails to deliver.

Against all that, we want to be clear about what we are not saying. We found no evidence that HH98 is fraudulent. We found an actively operated platform, posting promotions twice a day, running a current build, on a real tenant account, shipping a real 80.9 MB Android app. The problem is not that HH98 looks like a scam. The problem is that it has arranged things so that nobody can tell, and it has three sibling brands demonstrating that the information could be published without difficulty.

What HH98 does not publish

Because the lobby is gated, the list of unknowns for HH98 is longer than for any brand we have documented:

• No licence claim visible to a visitor. Its siblings print a Curaçao footer — IC777 with the retired 8048/JAZ number, PK365 with the number deleted, 98PKR with no licence text at all. HH98's footer, if it has one, sits behind the registration wall.
• No game catalogue. No provider list, no title count, nothing.
• No payment methods. Its siblings name Easypaisa, JazzCash and USDT. HH98 names none before registration.
• No minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, or withdrawal time.
• No company name, registration number or address.
• No version number, file size or Android requirement for the app.
• No terms on the 30% cashback, the Rs 598 bounty or the 3.98% commission.

Against that, here is what we established without an account, and it is worth keeping in view: HH98 is actively operated, posting promotions twice a day as of 26 August 2026; it runs the same platform build as three sibling brands, on tenant account 3673; its Android app is real, current as of 13 August 2026, and is 80.9 MB rather than the 6.6 MB its download pages advertise; it age-gates before showing content; and it is one of two brands in this family shipping the larger 100 MB package.

If you are deciding whether to give HH98 a phone number, that is the honest position: the platform is real and running, and every commercial term is behind the form. You would be registering in order to find out what you are agreeing to, which is the wrong order — and it is the one thing HH98 could fix tomorrow by publishing a terms page, the way three of its own siblings already do.
